Steven Rogers is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Centripetal. He leads Centripetal into the emerging Threat Intelligence Gateway market as the company who created the market, and invented the Threat Intelligence Gateway.
Steven has more than 25 years of successful leadership experience in the cybersecurity and communications markets. He’s built, grown and sold cyber and communications companies throughout his career.
Prior to founding Centripetal, he was CEO of Rivulet Communications, a provider data transport solutions to medical, government, and enterprise companies. He’s served as CEO of Cetacean Networks, Inc., which he guided to an acquisition by Avaya, as well as CEO for Objective Communications, Inc., where he led the company to a successful IPO, and ultimately an acquisition. He’s held additional positions with Cryptek, Inc., Unisys, American Satellite, Harris Government Systems, and COMSAT.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Steven has over 10 US Patents.
Sean Moore is the Chief Technology Officer of Centripetal and leads the overall technology vision for Centripetal, in addition to product management & development, and cybersecurity research. He holds 30+ patents in cybersecurity, networking, telecommunications, and web technologies.
Prior to Centripetal, Sean served as Chief Scientist/Chief Architect at Cetacean Networks. (acquired by Avaya) Sean has held other positions including Director of Business Development, Director of Advanced Systems, and Lead Scientist at BBN Technologies, which was acquired by Raytheon. He’s worked as the Principal Investigator for
Sean holds a Ph.D. & MS Computer Science from Dartmouth College, an MS in Mathematics from The University of New Orleans (SIAM Applied Mathematics Award), and BSEE from Tulane University. He also served as the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Communications Magazine.
Paul Barkworth is the Chief Financial Officer for Centripetal. He oversees all financial and administrative functions for the company, including corporate finance, accounting and human resources.
Prior to Centripetal, he served as Chief Financial Officer with Merchants Automotive Group, Inc. a major national vehicle leasing company.
Born in London, United Kingdom, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is currently a trustee and past treasurer of Strawberry Banke Museum, Portsmouth, NH, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Jonathan Rogers is the Vice President of Operations at Centripetal. Jonathan is responsible for overseeing all operations of the business, including product and solution delivery and design.
Jonathan brings more than 10 years of experience in the defense and intelligence community. Prior to his civil service Jonathan served as a military officer at the National Security Agency. Jonathan was awarded the Naval Expeditionary Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
Jonathan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and has an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business.
Chris Gibbs is the Vice President of Global Sales at Centripetal. Chris has over 20 years of sales management experience in the cybersecurity industry.
Chris's responsibilities at Centripetal are focused on managing a growing sales team and ensuring Centripetal’s Threat Intelligence Gateway solutions are top of mind in the enterprise and SMB markets.
Prior to Centripetal, Chris was Regional Sales Manager with SourceFire, which was acquired by Cisco. He has also held strategic sales positions with StorageTek and InPhase Technologies. InPhase Technologies, and StorageTek and brings sales and business development experience. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa.
Brett Claydon is the Vice President of Hardware Engineering for Centripetal, where he is responsible for APF software development, hardware development, mechanical engineering, quality assurance and production aspects of the Centripetal solution.
Brett draws on an extensive background with over 30 years of experience in the design, development, manufacture and installation of telecommunications and data communications equipment.
Prior to Centripetal Networks, Brett was VP of Product Development at Rivulet Communications where he was responsible for the Software and Hardware Engineering groups as well as production. He’s held senior engineering positions at Alcatel-Lucent (Nokia), where he successfully lead the Softswitch Development Team in the NEBS-grade open programmable, standards-based switch development. This switch was sold and deployed to some of the largest Telecom Service Providers worldwide. He’s held senior management positions also at Cetacean Networks and General Datacomm.
Pierre Mallett is the Vice President of Software Engineering at Centripetal where he is responsible for all application software, DevOps, big data processing and cloud computing components of the Centripetal solution.
Pierre oversees all software aspects of the Centripetal solution, including today’s most innovative elements of development including cloud applications, real-time stream data processing for threat intelligence, netflow, policies and analytics.
Prior to Centripetal, Pierre was the VP of Engineering at Webs where his team developed a B2C SAAS content hosting platform for managing websites, marketing and social media. Webs grew to scale to tens of millions of accounts worldwide, a premium subscription revenue model with broad social media applicability and was acquired by Vistaprint.
Prior to Webs, Pierre was an independent consultant with several large fortune 100 financial services companies, and has held senior positions with Perot Systems through its IPO.
